Why it’s not self-service #
Your base currency affects:
- Portfolio totals
- Return calculations
- Currency gain calculations
- Dividend totals
- Historical performance
Because your portfolio is calculated using your selected base currency (including exchange rate inputs tied to your transaction history), changing it requires recalculating and adjusting your entire history.
For this reason, base currency changes are not available directly in the app.
