Typical refresh intervals #
The web app refreshes market data and content on the intervals below.
Important: These intervals are typical, not fixed. They may change depending on capacity and provider availability, and some data may still be delayed (including end-of-day).
- Live prices & FX rates: every 2 hours
- Past performance: every month
- Market news: every 30 minutes
- Portfolio news: every 6 hours
- Dividends: every 7 days
- Supported tickers catalog: every 2 days
How price updates work #
After you match a ticker to its correct live listing, the web app:
- Fetches market data from the provider
- Combines it with your saved transaction history
- Calculates metrics such as:
- Current value
- Capital gain
- Currency gain
- Income return (dividends)
- Total return
Because Reviport is designed for long-term tracking, pricing may reflect end-of-day data rather than real-time quotes.
If something looks out of date #
Try the following:
- Refresh the page
- Confirm the ticker is matched to the correct exchange listing
- Check again later (some data updates on longer intervals, and end-of-day delays can apply)
